5/5 kuhlone - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Seiko Men's SNE166 Classic Solar-Powered Two-Tone Stainless Steel Watch with Link Bracelet (Watch) Great watch. Much more attractive than I expected. I was very pleased overall. It arrived on time. I saved a bundle by getting it from this seller versus in any of the department stores. It's solar, so no batteries. Just don't keep it in a drawer or box. It needs daylight or room light for power. Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , February 15, 2014

    Classy and Stylish

5/5 Nick22 - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Seiko Men's SNE166 Classic Solar-Powered Two-Tone Stainless Steel Watch with Link Bracelet (Watch) I wanted a nice watch that wasn't as bulky/big as all those other nice ones and this one is a good pick-size of say, a leather banded watch, and keeps it's shine for a little while now. About a month after purchasing I was flying next to someone who had a different Seiko watch and he told me he's had it for over 10 years so I'm confident that, especially with how this watch has held up so far, it's built to last. Glass scratches easier than some other watches, but in return shatters much less easily. Wearing it now, and it still looks just like the one pictured. This Seiko Solar Watch looks great and it is functioning perfectly so far

5/5 Joey (Clayton, NC USA) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Seiko Men's SNE166 Classic Solar-Powered Two-Tone Stainless Steel Watch with Link Bracelet (Watch) This Seiko Solar Watch looks great and it is functioning perfectly so far. It is indeed a Solar Powered Quartz Watch and it has a water resistance of 50 meters. Both the Case and Bracelet look well made and both are made of Stainless Steel. It's one heck of a deal in the $80 price range. On a final note, The power reserve on the watch is 10 months. You leave it out in the sun all day on a bright day and you're set for many months,.......Imagine that!!!!! Nice Style, no more wrist hair

3/5 applegeek - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Seiko Men's SKS415 Stainless Steel Bracelet Watch (Watch) I was looking for a stylish summer watch with a pop of color. This is a very sharp looking, with good weight, from a quality manufacturer. The problem is, the band is cheap, and will snag and pull your wrist hair. I was not a fan of this feature. After wearing this for a few days I couldn't take it any more and sent it back. If you don't mind grabbing a new band for this watch, it will serve you well and look nice. Seiko Men's SKs415 Watch

4/5 Peter M. - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Seiko Men's SKS415 Stainless Steel Bracelet Watch (Watch) I own 8 or 9 Seiko watches and I liked the color combination of the orange and gray dial. I would not consider this a high end Seiko watch as the bezel does not rotate and it is a fairly simple piece, but it was priced right and works as it should. No complaints. Pilot approved.

I'm a pilot, and I love this watch. The white numbers on a black watch face/bezel with red accents really makes this watch stand out. The E6B bezel rotates smoothly, but firmly and does not move easily once set (good thing). The numbers are small, but they are clearly legible due to the fact that they contrast nicely against the black face. This makes calculating Dist./Time/Fuel burn calculations quick and easy. This watch is very well made and looks/feels more expensive than $200. The chronograph is accurate and responsive and ticks about five times a second which makes it look like it's counting smoothly, as opposed to having it tick every second. The actual watch face is depressed into the watch and is lower than the hands, as well as the inner and outer bezel rings. It looks great. The setup was simple and the instructions were clear. I had to charge the watch out of the package, but after a day in the sun, it was ready to go and I have not seen the low... 5/5 Junstar - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) Seiko hit the target with this model for me. 5 stars all the way...

I begin this review with my personal preference for a watch as a reflection of why I purchased this particular watch. The watch has to be subtle (not flashy like LOOK-AT-ME! ARE YOU LOOKING?), is consistent with timekeeping, has chronograph functions, displays some form of contrasting color scheme for my visual perception, and affordable (under $250) with the features it can offer. This watch met my preference.Absolutely a great watch for both everyday wear and special-night-out wear. The design of the watch is very strikingly masculine yet subtle, unlike the flashy watches with huge faces nowadays. I'm glad the affordable brands such as Seiko, Citizen, Timex, and Casio are still following the traditional route and not too caught up with extreme fashion trends.Functionality, this watch is very versatile as it has ways to help you calculate and estimate measurements such as basic math to unit conversions. (That is all I have tried so far, although I know there... 5/5 Kingston - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) Nice but a couple things

I ordered this watch over the SSC009 because the SSC007 (this watch) claims to have a screw down crown. It does NOT have this. The description of the SSC009 didn't say anything about a screw down crown so I figured either they both have it or neither. Turns out neither have it. Not a huge deal, but I'm around water a lot and swim, apt to snorkel, and shower with my watches on so want them to be fairly waterproof. I've a couple dive watches that are also 100m rated (330') and have never had a problem with leakage, but they also have screw down crowns. The other thing I didn't like was the red color for the labels on the outside dial (e.g., Fuel Lbs, Oil Lbs, etc.) I'm 49 and vision is what it is (I wear glasses) but I found it very difficult to read the red.I ended up returning this watch and getting the SSC009 (same watch but with white labels and white sweep hand with red tip). Doesn't have the screw down crown but I find it much easier to read than this... 3/5 Dr.J - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) Not very accurate

2/5 Bruce W Kradlak - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Seiko Men's SNE032 Two-Tone Stainless Steel Solar Watch (Watch) I bought this watch to replace a Citizen's Eco Drive watch that was loosing time (a few minutes each month) after 12 years of constant use. Inspite of what the commercials and the corporate web site says, those watches do need to have the battery (excuse me.. fuel cell) replaced. It would cost more to repair the old one than to purchase this one.The good stuff about this watch are the obvious good looks and the nice features. Day, date, luminous dial, and white face are all great. The one big problem is it doesn't keep time. It looses two or three minutes per day. I've read the user's manual and charged it up properly. I wear it exposed to light plenty of time each day. However, it runs very slow.I would not purchase this item again.
